Suport In my opinion, support is just as important as the features you get from a hosting account, or the price you pay for it. I spent 5 years with my shared host, who offered less in the way of hosting resources than many others, for more money, but I stayed with them specifically because of the level of support I received from them. I've been with Eirca for 1 month now, and so far, I have this same level of confidence in them. From the beginning, support has been outstanding. Their staff is very knowledgeable and experienced with the systems they are supporting. Turnaround time on the support tickets has generally been under an hour for me (with one exception that I'll detail below). They don't always have the solution within that time, but you can expect your tickets to be assigned, addressed, and resolved quickly. The one exception to the quick support turnaround is during the night. I tend to work well into the am hours and I noticed that night-time support was much slower. When I asked them about it, they explained to me that it's a different mode of operation and that if I have a pressing issue to get resolved that I should set my ticket status to "Emergency", or just pick of the phone and call them. So with that misunderstanding cleared up, night-time tech support has been just as good as day-time. Everyone jumps in and supports the customers, you can expect to see many of your tickets assigned to the CEO, Simon. In 30 days, I've submitted 46 support tickets (avg 1.5 tickets per day) and I don't have a complaint about even one of them. Products/Services Eirca gives you a lot of bang for the buck. Their starter reseller package offers 5 gig of space, 50 gig of bandwidth, and 20 h-sphere licenses, for $24.95 per month. I used a discount coupon they had offered here on WHT, and that brought my monthly cost down to $19.96. The account also includes private label end-user ticket support for your customers, as well as branded DemoDemo tutorials (which I haven't setup yet). There is also the option to add 24/7 branded phone support for a very reasonable cost. With h-sphere, you can resell both Windows and Linux hosting, and you can resell domain names at a cost of $7.55 each. You get all the development tools and databases that you could want (for both platforms) which is important to me as a developer. Summary One thing about them really impressed me. They offer a walk-thru of the H-sphere control panel for those that are new to it. I scheduled my walk-thru for 6 pm. I received an email asking if we could reschedule for 9pm (California time). At 9, I got a call from Simon, the CEO, for the walk-thru. They're in Nova Scotia so that was 1 am his time! By that time I had figured out the basics of getting up and running with H-Sphere so Simon let me use the time as a general Q/A.
