Need Help with FFMPEG

Posted by cjewell, 06-03-2013, 02:35 PM
I have an issue with FFMPEG on CentOS v6. I have set up a Clip Bucket server and everything appears okay with the exception of the following. When I check my server modules info I see the following error on FFMPEG: ffmpeg is not found /usr/local/cpffmpeg/bin/ffmpeg: error while loading shared libraries: libavdevice.so.53: failed to map segment from shared object: Permission denied I have edited ld.so.config to iclude the path the the library it is llooking for but I still get the error. Any help would be appreciated.

You are missing some modules and you need to install it first.

You can also try installing ffmpeg via yum, which makes things a little easier. Last edited by Webhostpython; 06-05-2013 at 10:29 AM. Reason: Making sure I'm in compliance

whats the status of SELINUX? You can check it using the following command #getenforce If its Enforced or Permissive, try disabling it and then load ffmpeg. You can disable it by editing /etc/sysconfig/selinux and change the value to disabled. reboot the machine and then check if ffmpeg works.
