Volume shadow copy crasshing issue

Hello. "Volume Shadow copy" getting crashed again and again without any reason, on both windows 2003 and windows 2008 server. In event log showing only "Stopping the services" or "Volume shadow services" has been stopped something. Using R1Soft as backup manager and for this "Volume Shadow copy" services need to be live /running or else backup won't happen. Please suggest.
