Wanted UK reseller hosting
Posted by terryanderson1986, 10-26-2009, 06:42 AM |
Hi
I'm currently with Heart Internet and I'm now looking to transfer back to cpanel / whm as this is what my customers are used to.
Important factors are price, im looking to pay around £10 - £20 per month. I host around 20 sites, all use small amounts of space and transfer but would like room to grow aswell.
I would prefer the new host to help migrate customers from Heart Internet, and would like to see uptime stats and testimonials if possible.

you could try search on web hosting offer section...
and i'm highly recommend these 2 for UK reseller hosting.
1. Innohosting
2. EZPZ Hosting

Your bugdet is fine. If you are using CPanel it won't be a problem for a host to transfer your sites.

I would recommend InnoHosting 110%

A migration from Heart Internet would have to be done manually as they don't use cPanel. This would result in a loss of emails and other settings.
It can be done, but it'll be tricky and fairly time consuming depending on the size of the accounts, number of subdomains, databases etc.

You have a good budget.. The only issue I would see is the migration from Heart Internet to a cPanel based host. I'm sure with the right host however they will be able to provide the right assistance in getting things moved over as quickly as possible.
For reviews/testimonials, search for the hosts you have in mind here that also have a long track history and consistently deliver on WHT and you should be able to find a good deal of reviews.
Thanks for the recommendation Sc00by22!

Thanks alot for the advice, I am at present in talks with innohosting, trying to dig a little deeper into their company to see if they are the correct choice for me.
So far, they seem to be just what I am looking for. The only problem being transfering the accounts from Heart Internet to cPanel / WHM. Not looking forward to that

HostGator are not UK Based. They are US based with servers with ThePlanet.com

I have decided to go with Innohosting. I will plan a time to inform customers of planned downtime and then begin the transfer.
Thanks alot guys

I'm sure a search will bring up a few threads about their UK servers, they're a fairly large company.

I've used resellerzoom UK for my personal sites, they're pretty good as well.
