Few Pre-Sales questions

Right, im looking into purchasing the unmetered reseller plan from JIXhost I would just like to know how this is actually unmetered, or how it actually works? Also, when i start my hosting, how can i offer a free domain with various shared hosting plans? Last thing i would just like to clear up is on i saw that they were offering Clientexec for $5.99 monthly, are they registered resellers or how does this work out? Thank You.

Let's use logic here: Have they somehow found a material that allows for unlimited storage that they can offer for less than $8/mo? Probably not Have they figured out a way for you to transfer petabytes upon petabytes of data each month for less than $8/mo? Probably not.. Is it just a marketing ploy? Probably Unlimited can not actually exist.. it defies logic..

Hi, I want to clarify that we currently do not sell ClientExec, however may choose to do so in the near future.

Just try and you know how it works. The price is cheap enough for any experiences. Make sure you regularly run backup and keep a backup on your computer.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but their favicon is ripped from Justhost.com lol Jix's http://jixhost.com/favicon.ico JH's http://www.justhost.com/favicon.ico They look almost identical.

You hijack a thread to make a claim of an almost identical favicon? I will not report what I see on your actual website so lets be civil.

Jix, If your going to say our website is a rip of HDNP's it's not, the design was sold to me many months back. If I am not thinking of the right thing, feel free to post it here.

The theory is that they don't meter your usage, and thus don't limit it. That in the end is irrelevant though. The package is $9 per month, which is actually in the range of budget shared hosting. You can reasonably expect 100+ accounts to be placed per server. Assuming that the server has a 100mbps unmetered connection, the average customer can expect to be pushing 1mbps, or about 300GB of data transfer per month. That's the math at least. Chances are that they use servers similar to the dedicated servers that they sell, and at more or less similar prices. Play around with server configurations and see what makes and what doesn't make sense for them to give at $9. That's my personal opinion on how to read their offer. I always bet that the company is in the business to make a profit.
