Hi, I have be researching for just about six mouths now on resell hosting. I currently run a established web site for gamers and want to star offering them web hosting packages for thier guilds. I would appreciate any insight on thing that I can offer them that will set me apart from the unlimited very cheap plan offered by the big guy. Thing that will appeal to them and if anyone here can suggest providers of though things. Thanks

Most reseller that you will find here will be able to offer you some nice options in terms of reseller accounts. I would check out the Reseller Offers part of the forum. I don't know what you plan on offering in terms of software and all that but if you are supporting more than your basic low hit forums and websites you might want to think about possible a VPS so you can get the extra CPU power to handle any data intensive systems, killboards, raid monitors, and such.

You shouldn't try to compete with the big guys by offering unlimited everything for a cheap price. Unlike the big guys, I doubt you have access to a big legal team that can help you get out of trouble when someone finds out "unlimited" doesn't exist. You're already thinking about targeting a group of people, just keep at it and show them that you can work with them on a personal level. Bigger companies tend to only focus on the majority so they can keep their business up, you'll rarely see owners of companies interacting with individual clients and trust me, that's a big plus for particular clients.

Yes I have decide that to compete in this part of the market I will need to have raid boards and raid monitor. I have not researched to much on vps, but are you are able to resell with these package? Also do you recommend any good places to purchase these in order to offer them to my customers ?

A VPS is like a reseller if set up properly but you have a lot more control over what happens. But if you don't know how to manage a server, I wouldn't recommend you look for a VPS. To find good offers, look at the offers section of this forum. Plenty of hosts to look at there.

Most of them will be running forums, which are usually php based. So, look for a host in the offers section that offers litespeed. http://litespeedtech.com for more info

Does anyone know where I can find things like , killboards, raid monitors, for gaming guilds and other tools to offer with my packages that relate?

http://www.wowraidmanager.net/news.php has a good software for WOW. But like killboards for CS EVE and such you would have to google and try them.
