DNS only work when iptables is stop?

Hello guys, i have an dedicated server with VolumeDrive, i have instaleld HyperVM just to create an VPS for it. But after i created the VPS and i installed a webhosting panel on it. Then i can only visit the hosted websites or ping ns1.myhost.com after i type on the vps or dedicated server SSH session service iptables stop If i don't do this then i cannot visit the websites or ping the DNS. How can i solve this problem? I tried to install CSF and open the ports 80 etc, which they already come when i install CSF but nothing works. If someone can give me a light. I already comment out all the lines of iptables at /etc/sysconfig/iptables on the VPS but still sites and ping only works after i type service iptables stop If someone has any idea would be good to help. You need to properly configure your iptables rules. Make sure selinux is also in permissive mode.

What ports do you have open? To get website and DNS work you need ports TCP open 80,53 and UDP 53 open

Im really confused because i disabled both iptables and csf and now i can visit the site, i know that CSF is not a software but it an iptables manager. On the config file all ports are opened, is there a port i need to open in order for the node to access the VPS?

Are you sure you configure your name server and web server correct? The host node may have a firewall issue as well, you will need to consult your host to see if the node is setup for independent firewalls in each node. You could use nmap to see what ports are open, but if you have csf running, by default it will ban you for port scanning.
