Memcached after reboot

Hi, Can anybody please help, how should I configure the server to start memcached at boot by default. At current I have noticed its not starting memcached after rebooting the server, I mean I have to manually start it. Please help. Thanks.

add the service to chkconfig with "chkconfig memcached on" Once done please post the result of "chkconfig --list |grep memcache"

Okay, that looks fine. can you try a reboot at off-peak hours and make sure its running?.
