DNS A entry issue

we have server 1 and server 2 and main server where the main domain parked,server 1 & 2 has cpanel and main server dont have and we got server 2(this is new server) So in main server i added A entry of server 2 ip via ssh ( editing /var/named/mydomain.com.db and restarted named but server 2 is not work for 2 days and not pining also. can u help me on this what went wrong?

Is your "Server 2" accessible directly? Or what you meant is that the server works just the redirect doesn't. Also please explain what you are trying to accomplish that way.

sorry my mistake server 2 is working but the sub domain only not working

In case your subdomain is hosted on server 2, you need to pointed trough the DNS panel, A-Record - IP of server 2. Why are you trying to do this in Server 1 anyway ?
