Downloads timing out on Apache

Posted by SyntraClick, 11-10-2013, 04:41 PM
I have files I'm protecting for members using aMember membership software. These files are large .rar files (around 700MB). They will cut off at I believe the 9 minute mark if they have not completed downloading by then. I'm using fCGI with Apache but also have nginxcp installed (I edited my host file for the domain to send everything to apache and it still doesn't work, so I don't htink nginxcp is the issue). I checked php.ini, httpd.conf and my.cnf and could not find any timeout settings that were affecting this. 9 minutes = 540 seconds and nothing was close to that number. I found out fcgi has a configuration file somewhere but no idea where it is or how to find it, to see if there's a timeout in there that's causing this. Can someone help me? Thank you! - Jennifer

Did you check out Apaches KeepAlive, MaxKeepAliveRequests and KeepAliveTimeout found in your httpd.conf? you can see more info here: http://www.centos.org/docs/4/html/rh...ACHE-KEEPALIVE

Do you have any firewall installed on your server?, if yes please disable it and then try.

It's probably caused by the fastcgi timeout values. Please check the content of the following file /etc/httpd/conf/php.conf
