Do you want to buy a dedicated server to sell vps or you are looking for vps reseller you can use to resell vps's?

Very possible, however are you currently offering any kind of web hosting services or is this something you are looking to just jump into?

Is this going tyo be something new for you tyo do, something you have not done ever before? If yes read done guides as learn about dedicated servers and vps severs. When coming into buying a sever tyo sell vps accounts you need to get the right software for what type of service you want to provide.

I'd suggest doing some extensive reading and research into the subject before jumping into it. You're in the right place to learn anything you need to know, but don't jump into it too early. Last thing we need is another VPS host that disappears in less than a year and leaves clients stranded due to poor planning.

The issue with VPS is that they are purchased by tech savvy people that would expect top notch customer support and you being able to deal with unusual issues. If you don't have extensive linux and webhosting experience and technical expertise, I suggest you rethink your plans

Agreed. I think a reseller would be the better option of the two so you can get the support questions answered by the provider. You need at least basic experience with root/ssh privilages and linux whichever route you take and i advise anyone without that knowledge to stay clear of VPS/Dedicated setups.

something about that statement is a bit confusing. The whole point of buying a VPS is so you can spread your legs and do what you wish with it. If you require urgent tech support (apart from hardware failure) - you're doing something wrong and shouldn't be getting into owning a VPS. But that's just my take on it.
