problem installing memcached :(

Hello, i was trying to install memcached for my wordpress on centos. i have installed it properly but im stuck on changing the value OPTION to my own site ip. now everytime when i enter VI configuration is says there are swap files and i think i have to deal with them first. so how can i remove memcached swap files?? i cant edit memcached configuration file. error when i enter vi /etc/sysconfig/memcached and when i use ":recover" i think i have to delete them. how can i delete them all?? please give me some step by step instruction

try remove and reinstall it from yum

hello install nano: yum install nano and use nano to edit memcached

run a " rm -f /etc/sysconfig/.memcached.* " which should clear everything
