Hello, I'm protetting a subdomnain with htaccess and htpasswd. But after the first login, even closing the site and the browser there is no prompt for user and password again. My computer is used by several users and I want to be the only one to acceed that subdomain. What can I do ? Ty

Clear your cookies/cache.

This is most likely an issue with your browser cache. Make sure you have set the browser to clear the cache as soon as you close it.

The important thing here is to understand that once you have entered a Basic Auth password it is cached by the browser until ALL BROWSER WINDOWS are closed. You may be able to implement a logout, though logging out of Basic Auth is difficult and problematic. You might just be able to use a browser in incognito/anonymous mode - then you just need to close all incognito sessions to lose the password.
