please help me... deleting cache...

hi
i am not good in english so i am sorry and i hope understand me...
today i decided to change my server time zone...
i do not remember what was my last timezone but when i change the server timezone...
this changed is caused a problem with captcha in a script that was installed in my server...
i think that by deleting cache of server, may this problem solve...
i try it by "putty" by commanding this
by commanding above in server captcha problem was solve but i heard form some one that caching in server is good for loading and...
and i think bye commanding
the caching in the server is permanentaly disabled...
please help me...how to clearing cache of server but not to disabling cache at all...

What kind of cache?
- File cache
- Memcache(d)
- fcgi cache
- varnish cache
- session "cache"
- database cache
- webpage cache
- proxy cache

You've got to actually explain your problem in terms we can understand (that aren't vague). Web servers are complex beasts, and there can be literally millions of issues with them, so we can't just guess.
Probably best to spend a few dollars and hire a competent admin to solve it for you.
