WHMCS WHMPHP

Posted by sentahosting, 01-21-2012, 12:46 PM
Hey everyone, I am having some trouble with WHMCS and WHMPHP. I just got an order but could not create the module manually or automatically. Here is the message I got. "Unable to get the cPanel theme. Please check the the reseller owns his main account" Please can someone help. Many thanks

WHMPHP only adds master reseller rights to reseller accounts. I believe you have WHMPHP setup incorrectly and your trying to add master reseller rights to a cPanel account hence the error messgae. Last edited by Server Management; 01-21-2012 at 01:21 PM.

Can you create the account and give it master reseller rights manual from your whm/whmphp? If yes then it is a WHMCS error or probably you have not installed WHMPHP correctly. Why dont you try to contact WHMPHP directly so they can help you solve that error?

Have you tried contacting WHMCS directly for support with this?

Has anyone tried WHMControl?

It'd probably be more useful to contact WHMPHP as they're the ones who developed the WHMCS module, I believe. Have you tried ensuring that your main reseller account is the owner of its own cPanel account as the error message suggests? Also, another possible cause for the error is that the module is unable to connect to the remote server.

With a quick research using my favourite friend "google" I found that this must be the problem. "This is because the reseller does not own his own account. You ( or the system admin ) need to change the ownership of the reseller account" I hope it helped

Yes, that is correct. Make sure that the owner of the reseller account is not root. It should be the reseller himself. whmphp.com
