I haven't used any of those three providers but you can find many reviews about v7host and crocweb at WHT.

I'm satisfied with Crocweb. And then I've considered signing up with HostMantis several times, but I just don't need hosting at that specific location at the moment. I'm already well-connected in central USA. They had some sales going on a few weeks ago, posts I saw at other forums (not WHT -- don't think the sale was posted at WHT). You're starting out with a good list for low-cost shared hosts (all small companies). I think Ninjalion is the only one you've overlooked.

Hi what is it your looking for from a host? i assume your looking for US hosting as hostmantis.com and v7host.com is hosted with singlehop.com

I have always used US hosting even though I am based in the uk. I just feel prices are a lot higher over here..

Not much difference really, people in UK often pick UK hosts for a) keep things in country b) website hosting in the UK for SEO reasons c) speed of site to UK visitors

If you want a UK location, I generally suggest Stablehost. It's also fairly low cost, especially if you take advantage of one of their coupons. If you're a UK company with a 90% or more UK audience, UK hosting makes more sense.

I haven't found a uk reseller that matched the costs of the 3 hosting companies I have found. of course I would prefer a uk host.. but money is lacking for me at the minute. Speed is not to much of a problem with some hosts using lightspeed.. even over here lighspeed severs load near on instantaneous.

I've heard good things about v7host and crocweb. Never heard of HostMantis.

I haven't personally used any of the services listed above, but stable-host seems to have good reviews. - Ashton

Got experience with crocweb (they keep my email online) and just ordered a VERY cheap hosting package (12 bucks / year) through hostmantis for some fiddling and hosting a friends' website. Hostmantis' order process was smooth and instant. Also their order confirmations etc look good, which is something I like.

Thanks for your post Jay, glad that everything went smooth.. your have to keep us in the know how your experience goes.

I recommend getting from v7host as they offer 99.98% uptime guarantee and they have to many reviews at WHT! 99.8% uptime? Here.

Looks like v7host is quite a new company...

Posted by ElFlammable, 12-15-2011, 01:46 PM
I know their new but they offer quality hosting and 24/7 support.. Just try them for a month to see the quality and then upgrade to a year.

Thank you ElFlammable for your recommendation! I'm not able to quite work out who you are from your WHT profile but please report the domain you have with us to WHT for verification! Kind regards,

Hi V7Host, just noticed under your reseller page. Under v7 Reseller Features - you have an 'E' missing on Free Billing Software. Just thought you would like to know. Your pages load very quickly on a plus.

Fixed! Thank you!

I just signed up with V7host and so far the set up and ticket response times are fantastic. I submitted two tickets during the set up process and had a response in under 5 mins. I will add my experience after using for a month here. But so far I could not be any more happy.
