Cant seem to find too much information on them, they seem to of been around awhile, however I also cant seem to find any reviews about them (at least not any that look real). Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, have you already contacted them about their services? If so, what was your first impression?

Maybe no news is good news

I used The Prime Host as a reseller host and they were quite good and quite reliable.

The bad news in terms of negative reviews certainly spreads faster. Just got second hand information about them--which seemed favorable--so can't really recommend them.

Since they are a long established company, then I would consider the lack of negative reviews as a definite plus, as usually it's the people with issues that post reviews

Can you please tell me when you used their reseller service. How was their end user support and server uptime and speed?

We're of the opinion of "No News = Good News". We've indeed been around since 2001 (which can be verified via whois lookup and our WHT join date) and while we're not perfect we have more positive than negative reviews: http://www.hostsearch.com/review/the...ost_review.asp A few from WHT too.. http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...t=theprimehost http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...ght=prime+host http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...t=theprimehost

I moved my re-seller business to Prime Host about 8 months ago. The reason I picked them over their competitors was the "End User Support". However, I have not started using it yet for my clients as I have concerns about the quality of their Support. The Support I get as a customer is very slow and often off-target. I worry about letting them support my clients. My concerns are that when I submit a ticket it takes 15-30 minutes to get a message that they will get back to me, and another 30-90 minutes to get an actual response. To make it worse, the Support Staff does not appear to read the history of a problem and answers each response as a unique issue. As a result it normally take 2 - 3 replies to get a problem fixed. Example: Posted On: 26 Nov 2011 07:37 AM Me: Sent a very detailed Message (including email header showing problem) that the fix employed to resolve a previous problem, has created a new issue. Posted On: 26 Nov 2011 08:11 AM Support: "We will check this and get back to you soon. Please hold on." Posted On: 26 Nov 2011 08:37 AM Support: Received response that addressed the symptom, not the problem. Posted On: 26 Nov 2011 09:14 AM Me: Replied with more details and a request to compare email headers. Posted On: 26 Nov 2011 09:36 AM Support: "We will have a check into this and get back to you soon." 26 Nov 2011 10:00 AM: Still waiting for response......

I’m not sure how they used to be in the past but I can tell you I have been with them for about two weeks now and have nothing but problems. It started with them taking 2 days to setup the account then they gave me the wrong package. After that it took them over a week to get around to transferring my other two cpanel accounts over and made a two day process of it. During this time they took my sites down for more than 10 hours over two days. Their customer support does not communicate with each other I had to open 5 tickets and send the same info 4 times in one ticket and they take 15 to 20 minutes to respond with nothing, as shown below. Hello, We will update you soon about your site down issue. Regards, Technical Support Ticket DetailsTicket ID: DFT-683194 Department: Outages Priority: Critical Status: Open

Hello Robert, All migrations are done as a courtesy, granted most are done in under 24 hours. Apparently your sites being moved were large and we were having timeout issues while connecting to your old provider. Regarding the space size of your account package, we recently upgraded all Maverick Class VPS plans and your site was setup with the old which we quickly corrected for you. Your most recent issue was due to your setting your servername (hostname) the same as your name servers which caused a conflict. Your content was there but not showing. Our staff found and corrected this for you. (NOTE - this is for a VPS, not a reseller account) Your site(s) are now live and operational. If you have any further issues, please feel free to contact me and I'll ensure that you're taken care of. Best Regards Last edited by ThePrimeHost; 01-26-2012 at 02:31 PM.
