Question about the FFMEPG AutoInstaller

Hey, So today I found a tutorial that help me install the FFMEPG. The tutorial had me download an old version of FFMEPG Auto Installer. Once completed, I checked for updates and it found nothing. Instead of leaving it as is, I decided after to install the latest version. My question here is, would I encounter problems? Things seem to be installed just fine and things are operating smoothly...was just curious

Depends on what will you use it for. Using latest versions of any software is usually a good choice to be done.

sometimes it will be just fine, but sometimes also a few softwares / dependencies that you updated couldn't be working because of the update.

Hi, I never use autoinstaller because of this. I prefer installing FFMPEG and its modules manually. Upgrade is no issue with this.
