30 Gbps Peak Traffic

We have a customer that needs a 30 Gbps connection to live stream events in up to 4k and eventually more , they estimate a few thousand views but as usual they are overestimating. We do have a few months until the said events start coming in and I would like to hear some opinions on the matter at hand. Basically we have a few options. #1 Offload the traffic to Akamai or AWS - good solution in theory , very expensive in practice. The client has just 3-4 events like these per year so it doesn't make sense to get involved with the contracts and the labor it take to deploy this solution. #2 We temporally extend our CDN to accommodate the event - great solution but has the risk of overwhelming our current infrastructure. The risk is small but it's still there . #3 We setup a 3 servers from the same rack in a grid , each server with a hexacore & a 10 Gbps connection - this would fit the budget nicely and give us the possibility to accommodate other events from other clients without too much of a hassle. While there are no events we can use that infrastructure to offload other VMs. Disadvantages : we have no hands on experience with such grids & we're not sure if there will be enough processing power to sustains thousands of simultaneous viewers. My favorite option is #3 it fits the budget nicely & it gives us extra metal to add to our current infrastructure - also the client gets bragging rights about the "supercomputer" we built for him. It would also be great marketing opportunity for us & the client. We'd love to hear your thoughts & opinions on our solutions. If you had similar experiences , no matter the size of the client we'd also love to hear your story - you never know what detail can make the difference between smooth sailing and a rocky road.
