Posted by williamgurumayum, 01-21-2013, 11:09 AM
Hello WHT, I am a newbie with Reseller hosting and all those stuffs.. I think my question has been asked a zillion times out here. Wanna know which reseller host is the best to opt for? I will be content with 50gigs space, 1000GB/500GB Bandwidth. My budget is $20/month. I did google and came up with two host - HostGator and Bluehost. But after reading out here the negative comments of 'em,(EIG), i am surprised and confused.. So please guide me in the right way... Thanks!!

Hello, You could check for hosting companies at Find a Host section http://www.webhostingtalk.com/web-hosting-providers. If you like some hosting provider make sure that they offer money back guarantee before trying their services. IMHO for reseller host you should look for provider which have own data center, good customer support and offer whitelabel option. Regards Regards

Visited the said link and saw this only "Compare Web Hosting Resellers offering cheap and affordable reseller plans, packages and services including cPanel, Windows, Linux and much more." Nothing else. I was thinking of Hostgator and Bluehost. Also another name comes up, EZPZ Hosting? which one should i choose? Thanks for the reply..

You should also consider a provider that offers free billing software, ssl certificates, maybe even a free domain name. Browse the Reseller Hosting Offers, maybe you can find a nice recurring discount.

So, aren't there any options left for me? except to choose from these three?

Tried that link before and found many options to choose from, which i am not good at with. Thought some senior members experienced with such stuff would guide me...

Take a look at the offers section I am sure you would find a lot of offers that suit you. Avoid EIG hosts.

What's wrong with EIG hosts?

There are many many good hosts in the advertising section I would urge you to have a good look and read reviews before you sign up. Perhaps also contact a few hosts to get a feel of the support and response times etc.

Bear in mind people don't post positive reviews like they do negative. Check the offers section.

Yeah, i check 'em.. Now many options are cropping up.. I am having a hard time. Why people advise against using EIG owned host? any link/thread explaining it?

Most recently a quick two threads would be http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1186074 and http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1168297

Wow.. EIG do owns a number of web host.. Hopefully, EZPZHosting is not owned by them. Anyone having experience with EZPZ Hosting? I guess they don't have any chat support..

hey there, I am in a similar boat and have spent ages asking for assistance and reading reviews on reseller hosts. I am going to be signing up with EZPZ this week as I have heard excellent comments about them. The only negatives I've found is that their servers were down recently due to a DDOS attack I think. THey seem pretty solid, free WHMCS, free SSL, free domain name. Everything thing you could need. Their server storage of some packages isn't that high which is a shame but I would rather spend more for quality than quantity. Hope that helps, Oscar. Oh btw check out this thread http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...highlight=ezpzIt has the promotion that EZPZ are currently running.
