thank you Servstra!

I like to say thanks when thanks is due. I have been with Servstra for going on two years. I have not had any major problems with them ever, anything I did have a problem with has always been resolved in a timely manner. Today was crazy for me. I tried to upgrade one of my IPB forums to the newest 2.2.0 version (something i have done MANY times), well something went terribly wrong. it would not upgrade, it would not downgrade, anything I tired would not work. This is a popular and active forum (for me) so I was freaking out. I checked my offsite backups to do a restore with. I could not find the password to my servstra backup site, my bqinternet offsite was an older file. I thought I was screwed but would settle for an old backup at this point. I did not know I was, but I was backing up some accounts to a secondary hardrive, i thought i was just backing up OS/cPanel stuff there. Anyhow, Servstra found a current backup to the site there and initiated an account restore, within no time they had my site back online and current to the time I turned the forums off this morning to do the upgrade I know I probably was freaking more than I needed to but they brought back an important site and in the end helped me breathe alot easier. Sales also contacted me with my offsite backup password. Thank you Servstra for helping me out of a jam! its very important if you are a linux noob like me to have a great managed company behind you and as I realized today its also usefull to have multiple backups! Joe

I am with Servstra and we had a couple of minor problems...however, this were resolved in a timely manner and we are back up and running again. Also, php is a requirement for Invision Power Board so yes, PHP is included as part of their standard install build

Still have one server with servstra mostly because I never had any problems with it but I prefer to have 3rd party take care of server management.

I noticed that if you push them a little bit you can negotiate costs with them.
