Reseller Hosting

Posted by hephlah1, 10-25-2013, 06:44 AM
With all sense of integrity i want someone to please advice me on the choice of Reseller hosting. I operate from Liberia West Africa. I have up to 50 clients on my reseller hosting, i have been with axcess hosting for about 2 years until the company closed down lately, so i have to move to another reseller hosting. Their service is the worst i have ever seen. I need to move before they run me mad. Please i want your honest advice, I am ok wt manual billing and i prefer a Cpanel so my account transfer will be easy, the budget should be reasonable too. please advice

Whats your budget range? Saying ‘reasonable’ budget does not help since we cannot provide suggestions.

How much you are paying with your current host? I hope this is not a 1 dollar vs unlimited data/bandwidth.

Hi There, There are thousands and thousands of hosting companies around and many crop up everyday. So understandably it has become progressively difficult to find your perfect host. A good way to narrow down a list would be make a list of hosts which appeal to you. This could be a list of say 10 web hosts that all match your criteria in terms of services provided and budget. Contact each of those hosts one by one to get a feel of how they operate, their attitude towards customer support and how helpful they are to you. Feel free to ask as many questions as you can at this point because it will definitely help in making your choice as well as ensuring you're well informed before signing up. Evaluate the responses you receive, and coupled with reviews here and other places, decide on the host which appeals to you most based on their responses (not based on how much space/bandwidth they provide). You'll also need to decide what kind of host you want (budget or premium). Both self explanatory. With a budget host you're likely to receive a lot of webspace/bandwidth at a very low price. This comes with the potential that the support and speed of the service is compromised. So you may end up at square one again. With a more premium provider, the webspace they provide in comparison seems small to the budget provider, but in reality, they're just more realistic and ultimately the focus is on quality, speed and service. My advice would be to go with a host that is focusing on providing a premium service as in the long term, it's actually more cost effective even though on the surface it doesn't seem that way. In the short term, you may think it is not cost effective with so many budget hosts around, but in the long term, you're getting future stability, a solid foundation and a lot less headache. With reseller hosting your reputation depends on your provider, so a host that provides a solid service will significantly help your business grow and allow you to concentrate on expanding your business rather than worrying about the server being down or support being slow to fix issues. You should check out the offers part of the forum and look around for something that fits you. On the offers part of the form there are many different price points and plans that I am sure could fit your needs. You may also want to as your host before signing up with your country as some may think it is fraud. Good luck with everything.

Hello. For Liberia clients I would recomend to go with a host that have servers in Europe or East Coast. This is where you have the best connectivity to Liberia

Hi Everyone, I appreciate all your candid and honest advice, as a matter of fact i followed the advice of IH-Rameen by checking tru reveiws and I came up to agree on signing on wt skynetHosting. I will try them for 1 month wt few of my sites after which i will make a final decision. I have not seen any negative review about them especially as per support and down time. Please if anyone has any negative experience wt them please share wt me. Thanks you all
