Hi together, Want to build up a VPS hosting company. due to the fact that I'm not such a good business person i'm looking for someone who sells my offerings and gets a provision from it. Therefore two questions: What is an adequate percentage for a reseller? Where do i find someone who could do this? Regards, Gregor

So to get this correct, you want to buy hardware, host the hardware, administrate the hardware, buy let someone else sell it?

Sounds like you'd be better off using some kind of affiliate program with various different providers instead.

Yes. That would have been my idea. The reason is that i do not have a lot of know-how with selling something. So it would be a win-win solution. Regards, Gregor

So ideally you are looking for some sort of co-location offering where a provider will let you house your hardware in their datacenter AND sell if for you?

I read someone who wants to invest in a hosting company by offering hardware in exchange for a cut of the profits. I wouldn't really call it reseller hosting, business investing is a more appropriate name I think.

I think he is looking for some sales agent..someone who could resell his products..
