Hi everyone, I appreciate the cost involved in leasing servers and therefore I could well be asking a question to which the answer is nobody. However on the off chance, does anyone know a decent hosting provider who will allow a reseller to sell managed VPS / Dedicated servers alongside shared hosting. If so, how much flexibility do they provide? Can you whitelabel and / or manage servers connected to your clients? Specifically looking for UK hosted servers. Thanks

EZPZ has a reseller program. They'll give discounted servers to people who have reseller accounts with them too.

There are a few reliable hosts that will allow you to resell their servers at your own price for example if the server is priced at $10 a month you can offer it to your clients for $15 or $20 making a decent easy profit. Some hosts also give you a promotion code that knocks down their price for you and the more you sell the more of a discounted price you'll get. Back in the day vps6.net had a good program like this. You can always go with one provider for reseller account and another to resell their servers. Also as for white label some providers have solusvn which enables a API code that make it be able for you to have a custom control panel connecting to the API so when they go to manage their server they use your customer control panel.

The discount does not apply to software licensing, domain registration, one-time fee based quotes, bandwidth overage fees, or abnormal tech support billing rates. Custom Quotes do not receive a discount, unless specified otherwise within the quote.

Maybe consider becoming an affiliate as well? There are lots of affiliate programs for managed dedicated servers.

I've just caught up on that - real shame, feel for Dan, it seems like one issue after another and the latest seems outside is control. That said if there are no plans to sell EZPZ then I will keep them in mind; I've got another two months or so before launch anyway and Dan does seem the kind of person you would want to be behind supporting you, let's just hope their comms and scheduling for maintenance gets better along with the hardware upgrades
