Reseller Suggestion

Posted by Donn, 03-28-2014, 12:26 PM
Hi, I currently am looking for a reseller provider. My Requirements - 99.9% uptime - 40GB Disk space - 800GB+ Bandwidth - Unlimited cPanel accounts - Location UK Budget 14$/m Currently I have hostwithlove in mind but It seems they are quite new and I they have privacy protection enabled on their domain, I really would like to host with a host using liquidweb.

Hi Donn, We have been in the industry for over 2 years now so we are not really that new. Also, our contact information is publicly available and not privacy protected as mentioned. You may view the details here: http://whois.domaintools.com/hostwithlove.com If you were looking for a host which offers LiquidWeb servers, you wouldn't be able to find one in the UK region as LiquidWeb only offers hosting in Lansing and Phoenix. The Lansing location does have relatively good connection to the UK though and many of our UK clients are happy with the servers we deploy there. Thanks, Cody

Thanks for the suggestion.

That is odd. The only time the domain's information was privatized was over two years ago before the business was launched when the website was still in its planning stages. Ever since we launched in 2012, our contact information has always been publicly available. It is likely the website you are referring to is loading an outdated version of our domain lookup information. That being said, our company has always maintained transparency with both our clients and the public and it is extremely easy to contact any one of our management staffs if the need ever arises.

That Whois gave nothing what so ever about one of my domains I bought in 1995 that's public with it's on ns. All it said was it was located in California..several 1000 miles off. Suggest you look for another Whois site

Thanks, that may be so. I have paid for Reseller Hosting - R4 package with you. Just waiting activation. Thanks

So, you are having only these two issues with them? Nothing else? If you are satisfied with their services, you should continue your services.

Yah, I just love the fact that It reveals the Hosting company behind every website. I will find another reliable whois database

Posted by Donn, 03-28-2014, 01:10 PM
I haven't used them before, I said "I have them In mind" By the way I just registered with them a few minutes ago.

Seems my mistake. Best of luck for your future.

Just to add on, I would take the information the WHOIS lookup provides with a pinch of salt. Some hosting companies, including ours, host our main website on a different server for redundancy purposes to ensure our website does not go offline along with our clients' website in the event of a server downtime. The nameservers provided by the lookup would not necessary show the "main" hosting company. Your account has been activated, glad to have you on board.

Seems a nice choice. All the best!

Your best option is to check in the 'Reseller Hosting Offers' forum. http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=130 Plenty of UK based reseller providers, some within your budget.
