Can you suggest me a reseller / master reseller account

Posted by lgpadilla, 02-21-2014, 10:58 PM
Hello!!!! Im looking for an reseller (or better if its a master reseller) account. Actually im with greengeeks, but the quality of their service its going down. Im trying with ********** but theres 2 weeks and they cannot migrate my (8) cpanel accounts. im looking for an unmetered account, a server located in america, i dont care about the budget cause i want/need a good service. Thanks to all

obviously, there is something wrong there. Your 8 accounts are just simple sites or? How much space/bandwidth do you need?

Posted by HostWithLove_Cody, 02-21-2014, 11:56 PM
Not surprising they can't perform a simple task of migrating accounts since their name has been censored by WHT. I would recommend you not to go with an unmetered hosting provider though for stability concerns though.

Migrating 8 accounts are not a big task. I suggest you to not go with host which is promising to give you unmetered disk space, as it is not possible.

Have you looked at EZPZhosting or Greenvaluehost? Both of these providers offer Master Reseller hosting. Always read reviews etc. before signing up and only sign up for month to month billing until you get to know the host.

for reseller account i recommend you to use webhostingbuzz, i have sign with them for 3 months and i have 2 account with different server, so far i don't have any trouble for master reseller you can use HostWithLove, i can't say they are good because i have sign with them since last weeks before you choose a provider you must search their review in this forum..

Thanks for the mention. Agreed, a week is too little to judge a hosting service. Hopefully we will be able to prove ourselves to you as time passes.

Hello Luis, I am the Quality Assurance Director for GreenGeeks. It is my understanding based on your previous WHT post, that you were looking to cancel from GreenGeeks as you were informed we have a zero tolerance for mass emailing/spamming on our network. If you're facing any specific service problems, I'd invite you to reach out to our support team. Recently we announced hardware (SSD Accelerated Raid-10) & software changes to further improve our overall services. I'd like to insure that if your problems are specific to service interruptions that this is resolved and that you are on one of our upgraded servers. If you are however looking to send mass email, unfortunately there won't be much we can do for you. I would however recommend avoiding "master resellers" as cPanel/WHM was never designed to support this and in fact the majority of third party software that makes this possible has been known to be highly exploitable. This will only lead to stability and security problems in the long run. Instead if you like the idea of selling reseller accounts, I'd recommend you check out a VPS instead.

As a recommendation, I'd stay away from the master reseller accounts and just go with a regular reseller account. If you are looking to also provide reseller services, you might want to look into a managed VPS or unmanaged (if you are familier with managing a server).

GreenValueHost no longer offers master resellers / reseller accounts. They recently reworked their product line so it is now just VPS and Dedicated servers

For Master Resellers I will recommend you "HostUs.US" Alexander is a Great Guy. Highly Recommended.

You should consider a VPS if your budget permits it.

But offering like 300GB of SSD space for around $10/Month isn't exactly the most sustainable offer around is it?

Posted by HostXNow_Chris, 02-24-2014, 09:16 AM
I don't know of any providers that offer a decent master reseller hosting service, which is not surprising given the way master reseller hosting works. Maybe you can consider a VPS instead... if you need to migrate cPanel accounts yourself etc.

I never said it was

It's always good to hear both sides of the story, as to why a host's services are going downhill. Thanks for the insight, Josh.

Master reselling can be lucrative and stable, just go with one that uses whmphp.

Thank you for the recommendation. - Alexander

Hi guys, thanks for your answer. I tryed **********.in but... the support sucks.... the VPS idea sound good the space doesnt matter so much (30-50 gb) but i need unlimited bandwidth. Can you suggest me some? budget.... i want a good support (less than 40/mo)

Posted by lgpadilla, 03-17-2014, 11:42 PM
Hello, thanks for your answer! Talking about spam let me see how bad is your company, i cancel the service due the bad answers of the support team, i mean your server admins never know what happened when a service went down, the answer was delayed for days!!! Or, maybe was when you send me a due invoice reminder and you suspended my account after 20 minutes after you send it (even when the service was paid) Please, be honest

You even can go for a VPS with cpanel. I believe that would be great in your case with all root access as well. Last edited by Vini_AlphaNine; 03-18-2014 at 01:43 AM.

then,i have to manage the VPS. From where i can learn? I need to learn how to create shared/ reseller/ master reseller in a VPS.

Posted by BHH - Josh, 03-18-2014, 06:07 AM
As long as you have cpanel and whmcs, creating a shared account is the same. To create a reseller/master reseller you will need to install the WHMPHP plugin, but once this has been setup it is fairly simple to integrate with WHMCS

thank you, thank you so much. I knew that, once i've setup creating shared cpanel is same. but i didn't knew about whmphp. can you please share any resource to learn this works from buying one vps. So, if i buy a VPS then i can sell shared, reseller, master reseller using only one vps ? right? please tell me how can i sell VPS services? I've to buy another VPS then?

Hello, im looking theese (27-34 DLLS) VPS greenvaluehost . com / managedvps.html mochahost . com / vps.php What do you think?

Posted by BeZazz, 03-18-2014, 12:22 PM
I suggest you do a search of the forums and see what information you can find about them.

Posted by WPCYCLE, 03-19-2014, 09:50 AM
I would second that. Take a few hours and do your research, ask the potential host many questions, try out their support at 3am...but most importantly, read the responses between host and customer. The last thing you need is to go from host ****** to host ######## leaving you saying !@#$%^&*( in your head.

Posted by JixHost, 03-23-2014, 07:55 AM
I would not recommend a vps to a user, unless they express interest in running root. Master reselling is stable and easy for clients to understand and use. Last edited by BeZazz; 03-23-2014 at 08:02 AM.

I dont know how can your provide reseller account, They can migrate between 1 min no need to long time. So can you tell how much your budget for reseller or master reseller account ?

Posted by MechanicWeb-shoss, 03-31-2014, 05:32 PM
On their site I didn't find anything that says I can resell reseller accounts.

Posted by GreatValueHost, 04-01-2014, 09:54 AM
Same here beside going to the order page and seeing "Unlimited cPanel / WHM Accounts" under a reseller which I guess means you can create cPanel and WHM acount.

Posted by MechanicWeb-shoss, 04-01-2014, 10:06 AM
That created a confusion to me and I had to ask. May be my language barrier. It would be more friendly for me if they could put it more clearly.

Posted by GreatValueHost, 04-01-2014, 10:18 AM
Indeed, I would prefer that they state that the reseller has master reseller access or that it can create reseller account on the reseller plans info.

There are many good reseller options out there. And, migrating 8 cpanel servers should be pretty simple.

Posted by Mahavikri Corp, 04-01-2014, 09:51 PM
you can use a VPS + WHM, and you can migrate your account
