Hello I report some personal problems and seek help from you. Currently rented a dedicated server (I7 +8 GB RAM + hundreds + CPanel) Please contact "we3cares.com" which asked for best wordpress blogs reported that the same "nginx" so to pay $ 60 for the same James who returned in 8 hours the server is ready. After 8 hours or no server response, only after 29 hours I have access to the server, nothing worked after accessing the same that came with the crop "nginx" not serve to wordpress, s endo that he was even recommended. After nearly 30 hours complaining, being treated as a liar, contact with another company "supportpro.com" it charged me the same $ 60 to clean my server to install and generally being with "apache 2" it was done and has almost 2 days that I called my site is not online httpd goes down almost every day has lost half of my clients. The worst and hear that saying all this normal, after the problems have already restart the server using a server almost 5GB "I7". I am 4 nights without sleep, the worst thing and you know who your customers are paying you looking to make the best of which always some little ta matter if you are losing customers or not. Thus person to help you to give me a good company that can do the installation from scratch on my server because I am tired, since your payment after the service changes completely. I am thinking in the company below. admingeekz.com, like the view or if you can recommend another company management and solid commitment to the customer.

try platinumservermanagement.com they are low priced, and do good work.

This is bad, really bad. You should redo the server for your Wordpress hosting. Remember that Wordpress uses lots of server resources so you should optimize the server as well.

Problem and the price I charged them $ 300 an absurdity

I'm getting the feeling that a lot of your problems are caused by your inability to write proper English.

You meant they charge you 300 dollars? Which provider?

Posted by chupaqueedeuva, 08-10-2009, 07:42 AM
AdminGeekz charged me $ 100/hr, and service done in 3 hours = 3x100 = $300

Posted by net, 08-10-2009, 07:47 AM
Well, at least they've done it right, right?

Posted by CoolDavid, 08-10-2009, 07:53 AM
Now I understand why they don't put any costs on their web site. Admingeekz is great but $300 is indeed absurd even if they get the job done. But I guess you want instant service from them so they charge you emergency fee for it. Remmember that they have their standards setup and they work accordingly. They don't support Apache 2 for cPanel.

Yes we do support Apache 2 and have supported it for about a year so far. Our web site even indicates right on the front page that we support Apache 2.

I ask where the rent dedicated server for the formatting of all be done from scratch, they requested an image of hundreds which I provide which hundreds more.

100 an hour isn't that expensive. Sure it's more than particular providers on here charge but then said particular provider just runs a few scripts. If you need a real server management, it prices. Have you got it sorted now ? It is quite hard to understand you, I'm presuming English isn't your first language or your using a translator ?

If you $100/hr this cheap make good profit, because I believe that for many of this forum is very high value.

Yes, it's quite a lot of money for server administration, but nobody is forcing you to buy from them.

The reason we do not list costs on our website is because we don't have fixed costs. We don't offer random script installation; we actually do the job properly. Every single one of our monthly customers receives the specific setup they require be it for a single system or an entire cluster. I would absolutely love for you to find a single one of our monthly customers that isn't satisfied with our service. Just find one, just one - who continually has reoccurring system issues or constant downtime or the same old reoccurring issues that made them leave their previous administration company. The only fixed price is one time work which is always billed at $100/hour and this will be listed on the new website. I am not sure why this debate has even come up, if you don't like our costs it's really simple, don't use our service - though it is your loss. There are plenty of other choice out there. Just join their extremely long queue, put up with extended downtime lasting days, go without 4 days sleep as you say and pay $60. We're not judging you. But find a single customer of our customer’s whose system was crippled by us and were abandoned. You won't ever. No one has ever left our service with their system down and inaccessible for hours. I can appreciate our service isn't for everyone. But the bottom line is inexperience prices customers money. When you are losing hundreds every minute, drop by and tell us that $100/hour is a high rate. Finally, let me address this: I have strong suspicions you have not used our service or have received nothing more than a quote which would explicitly state $100/hr for 1 to x hours work. The time varies so much because we have no way of know walking into a new sale whether your system is extremely slow, bad network, badly configured or a whole host of other reasons - it is impossible to gauge. Instead we're honest and upfront. The overwhelming majority of one time sales are under 1 hour so as I said, I very much doubt you have used our service. I know as 100% FACT that you nor anyone else have EVER used our service to just install nginx and been billed for 3 hours so clearly, you are not telling the whole truth. I will personally refund you 10 times what you have apparently paid ($3,000 in total) if you used our service to simply install nginx or any webserver for that matter and it took 3 hours AND if you were having consistent downtime relating to it afterwords or were unable to contact us for 29 hours or anything else you have to claim. To add to it, I will also pay whatever you have paid these other administration companies to "correct" any work we have apparently carried out that has not been up to standard. So please provide us with the details you have used to use our service. I think we all know that you can't as you have never used our service, there is simply no possibility of anyone using our service and having such issues described in this thread, I am very confident in that. Just look at this thread you have now paid two separate administration companies a total of $120 and how many days of things not working? When 1 hour of our time with AdminGeekZ would have given you everything you wanted. Our reputation for excellence speaks for itself. If you bring your issue to us and we don't / can't fix it, you won't even pay a cent. (Which to date there has not been a single issue we were incapable of resolving). When we do fix it however, you'll pay the price our reputation for quality and experience entitles us to charge.

Your English is indecipherable to me. Did you used an online translator to make up for your inability to read/write in English? I wish to understand the scenario, especially with the 2 companies above.
