IOFLOOD.com is proud to announce that in addition to Centos 64 bit and Centos 32 bit, we now fully support Ubuntu 10.4 32 and 64 bit as well, in both Xen VPS's and Dedicated Servers.

Previous to now, we had only officially supported Centos 5.5 32 and 64 bit, allowing other operating systems only upon special request. Due to additional research and development, Ubuntu is now fully supported on both our Xen HVM platform and dedicated servers, and all order forms have been updated to allow this as an option during signup.

It may not seem like a big deal to expand an OS offering to what is arguably the second most popular hosting distribution. However, because IOFLOOD wishes to provide the best possible customer service at competitive prices, we have to be very selective about what operating systems we can support. If we are not 100% confident in our ability to properly support an offering, we would rather not offer it at all, even if it means losing a customer to a competitor.

Overall, we are very excited to be able to expand our range of operating systems and services, and will continue to take a slow and steady approach towards expanding the range and depth of hosting services that we offer.
