Hostany Down.
Posted by rainbows, 12-11-2003, 12:46 AM |
Hello,
I have a problem to connect to my server at hostany.com
My IP address is : 69.1.81.1xx . I have a lot of virtual domains
using this ip.
However, my main ip server 69.22.169.1xx still works.
I think there is some link for that ip was down.
Anyone has this problem.
Thanks.
Krit

We stopped announcing 69.1.x block today, because of network provider changes, the new IPs was assigned to our customers 4 months ago, so you might want to check your email regarding this.
Sorry for the inconveience we've caused.

Opus - That explains the downtime - Unless people who have servers with those IPs renumbered to the IPs given 4 months ago (acording to HostAny), the downtime will exist forever.

Five days without website is a lot of time...
And no matter what someone does to fix problems, the worse is not the get a response.
Hiding and not responding to support requests only makes the customer more angry.

By the way what were the IPs you got? Were you informed of the "new" IP block?
I know some other people received messages about "IP blocked due to illegal activity" on a server running secure shell only and used as backup
Nice excuse, huh? And nice approach to treat customers like idiots
