My site went down last night, and when I attempted to goto dot5 to get support their site is down aswell. Anyone else having problems with them or have their site down right now?

If you're talking about http://www.dot5hosting.com/ , it's up here, though it redirects to http://www2.dot5hosting.com/ . Have you checked Network Outtages?

Hi, My site is also hosted by dot5 and is down frequently since last weekend. I noticed the site has been hacked. The index pages were all replaced by another page (with one sentence on it). I changed this myself so it works again but i noticed just now that the site is offline again and now shows the admin panel. When i go to the support page of dot5hosting i get redirected to this page: www2.dot5hosting.com/vsupport which says: Egad, we're reporting this error! (hacker again ?) Of course no help from dot5 as usual. I had two sites hosted by them but already moved one site last week (to lunarpages.com). I'm really getting fed up with this and it seems i'll have to move my other site too (mandymoorenet.com). Nicky

Heh, my site was the original site hacked on Dot5 about 10 months back. Some people from Zone-h.org apparently hacked it. Was actually kinda amazing anyone even knew my site existed, but it was listed there, if you don't believe me: http://www.zone-h.org/en/defacements/view/id=296871/ Either way that was a while ago. And since then I left Dot5 because of crappy service after they sold out. Two of thier ex-employees (the ones that were good) are basically my friends and I now am hosted by them at: http://www.netwire-solutions.com Dunno if they have the ordering system up yet.

My site was indeed hacked by them ! I found it on their website when i did a search for mandymoorenet The site is still down, dot5 only says "it will be working in a few hours" but already 6 hours have passed now. I'm definitely going to move my site to lunarpages ! Nicky

My site was also hacked on NS17 a week ago sinilar to all sites on the server. Since then, their server, and certainly their customer services, are driving me away from them! My altimate wish these days is to see the front page of my site. I already started looking for a new hosting company

Hey Bassam, My site was also on ns17. I never had any big problems on ns17, just a server crash a while ago (one, two weeks ?) but then the site got hacked on Feb 7, and since then the site was down most of the time. Two days ago i changed hosts and now the site is back online, it's also faster. I had two accounts at dot5 and have been a customer for almost 2 years. In the beginning (first year) i had almost no problems but they seem to be doing worse and worse. I hope i won't have any billing problems now, i have cancelled payment through worldpay i hope that was enough ? I have lunarpages.com as new host by the way, i hope LP will stay as good as they are now. Nicky

After all is said and done, they have gone and reinstalled my account for the forth time now. I can't take anymore of this bulls*t They are by far, the worst ISP I have ever used. Support is lacking as is their service. Anyone looking for a host _DO NOT_ use dot5hosting.com You can flame me all you want for this post, and I really don't give a rat's a** I lost 3 contracts today because of their stupidity.

Our site is down again while writing this post. The difference this time is that when I asked the support agent for a reason, he said that NS17 has been hacked again and they don't know when will it be restored! I've already registered with lunarpages which I hope they'll not be anot dot5 in the future..
