ezzi.net packet loss, heavy latency, servers down

Posted by Rahil, 02-22-2004, 06:04 PM
Anyone experiencing trouble with your EZZI boxes? All 3 of mine had some beautiful (heavy) latency, went down for a few minutes, then came back up. One server is not responding. This same problem happened last night. That's the answer I got from someone in the Live Help.

You saw some issues, contacted us, we knew about the problem, gave you a time frame, we got the problem solved within the time frame, and now things are back to normal. Wow that is some great support... GO EZZI!!!! Figured I would take this chance to toot our own horn. Sorry mods if this is not allowed...

We noticed the same problems, contacted Ezzi and they were already in the process of solving it. Things were back to normal exactly as informed and I am very satisfied! Great job guys!

They have been up and down for the past 2 days over and over. Not for all routes but through certain peers.

Posted by JeremyL, 02-26-2004, 11:23 PM
Well I love their support,, they are always quick to reply. But the network has been something to desire lately.

Posted by propcgamer, 02-27-2004, 12:03 AM
i guess you get luckier then me

Support is great too. I spoke to Dan personally and i know they are under alot of stress. Give them time, once the network is back up to full capacity, im sure everyone will be happy with the changes

Posted by Rahil, 02-27-2004, 07:58 AM
Oh I really hope that's the case.

yea Howcome everytime they do some maitenance or upgrades... a few days later theres always a big problem with something...

Posted by Rahil, 02-29-2004, 11:33 AM
It's been 10 hours, is that not a long time for this type of attack?

Posted by FanCube, 02-29-2004, 11:50 AM
Some parts of EZZI´s network is still down, was told by support that they expected the attack to be blocked within an hour, so I am sure they are working hard to get all servers back online.

Posted by JeremyL, 02-29-2004, 11:50 AM
Yes, very much so. Usually there are only so many ip's the attack comes froma nd they are all null routed bu now

Posted by Webgypsy, 02-29-2004, 12:02 PM
I am back (for now).

Posted by FanCube, 02-29-2004, 12:15 PM
