EV1 down?

Posted by bonushost, 03-21-2004, 09:17 AM
Hmm, unable to connect to EV1 and consequently my box with them... Shouldn't be my ISP and I'm getting worried here Thanks

Their site is loading fine, as well as few hosts using ev1..think its just you.

I have problems too. Got a box at DC2 working nice, but I can't get to my box at DC1, or their support forums/website. I route through Verio on the DC2 box, and AboveNet to DC1 so that would seem to be the problem.

Yep, my server is at DC1 too, and still down, and neither their homepage, forum etc is responding. Actually sorry it wasn't just me.... I'm in Sweden so does anyone have their international phone # handy?

I can't get to EV1 either. It's been about 6 hours but I can get to our servers okay. Just had a client from Jordan say they can't access one of our EV1 servers though. When I traced his IP from the box his account is on, it stops at: 9 fe100-nyc-cb.emix.ae (198.32.160.93) 51.310 ms 51.096 ms 51.872 ms But I can trace and ping ev1servers.net no problem - the site just won't load. There are definitely routing issues.

Just got this trying to restart httpd and then the session died. [root@ensim root]# /sbin/service httpd restart Shutting down http: [ OK ] Starting httpd: Processing config directory: /etc/appliance/apacheconf Processing config file: /etc/appliance/apacheconf/apache PHP Warning: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php4/mhash.so' - /usr/lib/php4/mhash.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0 Makes sense to anyone? I'll try calling too, thanks for the phone numbers!

Mailed support and I got the following answer: Dear Customer, We are currently experiencing issues with AboveNET, and all traffic routed through them cannot reach our servers. Please be patient while our network department works to resolve this issue. Regards, EV1Servers.net Technical Support
