I was with Unacom for more than a year now and they've been super reliable...but now my site's down and I'm worried. I hope this is only temporary.

actually I cancled my service with them as of April of this year. They were ok if you didn't need support (Doesn't take much)...a few times I had issues with my MYsql db's dissapearing took a few days to get to the bottom of it.
But another time I needed to get support from them and didnt get a response for a long time. But they might have changed for the better since then.

Why do you still have them in your signature?

I guess they are handling more customers than they should. Thing is more customer more problem and need more support that is the reality.

Anyone else here using Unacom? I'm getting worried cos my site's been down the whole day.
I actually never tried contacting their support before because everything's so easy and available on your control panel. Besides that, they were never down...until now.

skysenshi,
What do you think you should inform others, so publicly, as soon as you experience a downtime?
Couldn't you just talk to your host first?
I see lots of people on the forum (especiallly recently) telling others of temporary site downtimes or as soon as something goes wrong...
I would treate my host with some dignity and loyalty. After all, the relation between a host and their client is mutual.
Imagine if they came here and posted every single problmes with their customers.
Give'm a break!

Moved to outages. Their site is also down. Hopefully you have some alternative means of contact?
