The credit card processor authorize.net was down for most of Sunday afternoon 2004-08-01 17:00:00 UTC. I was unable to find any useful outage information on the net. Yahoo News came up with a story on the American Airlines/EDS outage on Sunday (11hrs after it happened), but that was about it. Does anybody have any good resources for real-time updates, web forums, etc.? Peace, Jonny EntList.com

The title suggests you seek a site which contains information about Internet outages, yet your post (and the thread linked to) is limited to one specific company you are interested in. You have found the proper forum, however, for real-time outage info, more or less. I would suggest a better title for this thread would've been: authorize.net down? for future reference. Also, 'authorize.net down' makes a good search query!

Thanks, BigBison. I found the authorize.net thread, later. I'll be sure to check here when I suspect an outage. I can see from the other thead that authorize.net was down most of Sunday. Peace, Jonny
