I could not access servint.com Could any one xccess it? or it s down

Servint is down. My sites and servint.net , .com is down. I'm sure they are working hard on this. Lets hope fr afast solution.

Hi We are now 1 hour down here from Europe .I thought it was Europe only problem but as i can see it is global.?? Does anyone knows what is the status.? Thanks

My servint VPS is also down :-(((( bad time for it I guess since there is already a thread here on it, there is no need for me to try and contact them --- it looks like it's a network problem yes? Last edited by beowulfdk; 11-17-2004 at 03:44 PM.

yes, it looks like the whole servint network part disappeared from the internet... hoping for a quick resolution; no need to call I guess -- they sure are working on it...

I live about 5 miles from Servint's NOC, and my server at Servint, along with all of the Servint Network, has been unreachable for well over an hour. They are not answering any phones (NOC, Customer Service or Sales), just busy signals or voicemail. I assume they are all working on the problem, giving it maximum priority, since it effects so many servers.

I spoke briefly with Chris in the NOC at ServINT - he told me that they were having "network problems" and did not have a firm ETA for when things would be back up. In the interest of letting him work to resolve the problem I did not press for more information. My VPS has been unreachable for at least 90 minutes now (as of 2:00 CST). Some of my customers report that they can reach their sites without problem, some report that they cannot - sounds like a DNS issue of some sort, except that I cannot reach the server even using the IP. I don't know what's going on but I'm hopeful that it will be solved soon.

your customers are probably getting info from caches.

I doubt it's from a cache as the sites are mostly dynamic. One customer in particular is still working developing his site and has been able to upload/download via ftp and see changes appear on his site all day.

Well, I'm certainly glad I discovered this post on WHT. I purchased my VPS account 6 days ago, so as you can imagine, I was quite surprised when I couldn't gain access to any of my domains. The NOC at ServInt has been extremely helpful/professional since day 1, so I'm confident the issue will be resolved shortly. (at least I hope so!!!)

apparently 5% per 30 minutes .. but nobody nows as yet ... mail billing@servint.com and ask
