Colo@ announced their latest power infrastructure upgrade, a new 160 kVA UPS was switched on today at their 34 Peachtree - Atlanta 2 (Colo@34) facility in downtown Atlanta, GA. This brings current site UPS capacity to 320 kVA and will provide customers with even greater power redundancy and uninterrupted service than was previously enjoyed.

Gary Simat, CEO of Total Server Solutions/Colo@ said "This UPS greatly increases our battery backup capacity in our Colo@34, Atlanta location and makes our already stable power supply even more solid. It's a substantial capital investment to help keep our customers operations running smoothly."

The increased UPS capacity is just one phase in a series of planned upgrades. Future upgrades to Colo@'s Atlanta location will include an additional 320 kVA of UPS capacity, an additional 750 kW generator system, and 100 tons of additional cooling capacity. An additional 1200A, 480V power feed from GA Power is planned in the future to further bolster the incoming power capacity at Colo@34.
