We're working on the issue. The server actually didn't lock up the load just shot up over 300. I attempted to bring it down without a reboot, but it just locked up so I'm having the DC reboot it now.

it was down for about 20 mins. Just wondering and its important to keep my forum up as it gets alot of hits daily

We're getting hammered by this PhpBB exploit bot, which is causing a tremendous amount of load on the HTTPD & MySQLD server.

Looks to be another nasty type of PhpBB bot. Here's a supposed fix that will block against this attack from the cPanel forums;
SecFilterSelective ARG_highlight %2527
Add that to your mod_security config.
