I got panicked for a few minutes.. My ISP (Malaysia) using savvis to connect to our server at Liquidweb DC .. Lost connection and high pings from here but actually the server is fine. I bet Singaporeans (who are using Singtel ) facing the same problem.

Yeah, I guess it was affecting Steadfast Networks too. My servers there which are on their high-end network (Savvis/Level3) were completely unaccessible for 15 minutes. Is this issue with Savvis completely fixed now? All my traces seem to be routed thru Level3 mostly now.

savvis is doing emergency maintenance to plug a major vlunerability in the junos os in their junipers. they have been updating code and rebooting routers in their backbone all night. we got a notification from them at about 11 pm last night.

Thanks for the info Jeff! Too bad Steadfast didn't send any notification about it at all so we're left in the dark.
