At the time of this posting, the EV1 network is down. I can't even get to www.ev1servers.net

Experiencing the same problem here. Hope this is not another The Planet incident.

IS it just me or did EV1 just fall off the map totally? Everything I have at EV1 is down including DC1 and DC2

Everything in DC1 and DC2 + ev1servers.net was down for me.. it has already been a rough month for Texas based DC's or what

Thier website is reachable. I dont have any boxes with them so I cant tell otherwise. I'm not seeing any BGP route flaps/dampening or anything either. However, I did notice that WHTIRC bounced for a minute or two.

down for me to.

Yep. All good here. I would love for EV1 and TP to get some DC space somewhere other than Texas. It would make me feel a lot better to have things spread out a bit more.

It was for a couple of minutes (if even that) for a network issue. It's back up now.

Know how you feel. And it is only the beginning of the month.

We saw about 5-15 minutes of outage for scores of servers we manage at EV1. Traceroutes from other servers located on Cogent, AboveNet, Verio, and Williams all failed just before their hop into EV1. Fortunately systems are back up now. To put this type of outage in perspective.... Over a 30 day period: 99.999% uptime means less than 1 minute of downtime 99.99% uptime means less than 5 minutes of downtime 99.9% uptime means less then 43 minutes of downtime 99% uptime means less than 440 minutes of downtime.
