Down for me. Trouble ticket without response 2 hours already

Posted by macdonaldp, 05-05-2005, 02:47 PM
I wonder why people never think to look at their own internet connection. Just because you cannot access a site, doesn't mean that the network is down. It could be a network interruption on your side.

Posted by whmcsservices, 05-05-2005, 02:50 PM
That true but if you got more then one server they all up & one is not then it got to be the DC

Posted by macdonaldp, 05-05-2005, 02:51 PM
Well then the network isn't exactly down then... is it?

Posted by web4net, 05-10-2005, 06:21 AM

Posted by RyanD, 05-10-2005, 09:12 AM
our single server there has been virtually unreachable, 500ms+ pings, massive packet loss for about the last 8 hours now.. unfortuneatly this is normal for them.

my servers are up for now, but i have a open ticket for more than 4 hours without any responce and they seem to be offline on aim

Posted by whmcsservices, 05-10-2005, 10:20 AM
I got one of 5 day no response. I left then today they on the waste service they got

Posted by HostJedi, 05-10-2005, 10:29 AM
<< I got one of 5 day no response. >> I find that very hard to believe. << I left then today they on the waste service they got >> This is untrue as well, as we have not received any cancellations at all today, nor do we have an active client by the name of "Jose Martinez". The only "Jose Martinez" that was ever a client cancelled service in July of 2004.

<< dowwwwwwwn >> Yes, it's called a BGP reload, and EVERY provider has them. Please wait atleast 5 minutes before posting such a comment in the future.

<< and they seem to be offline on aim >> You are attempting to contact us on AIM during a shift change. During shift changes, the current shift staff signs off, and the new shift signs on. There may 10-15 minutes during the process, twice per day.

<< our single server there has been virtually unreachable, 500ms+ pings, massive packet loss for about the last 8 hours now.. unfortuneatly this is normal for them. >> I would have to stongly disagree. 300ms ping times do occur, as a result of certain internal network floods (which we are in the middle of implementing a solution for this month), but they DO NOT last 8 hours. They are usually resolved in 10-15 minutes, and at an extreme case of not being able to track it down....possibly up to an hour. If you are having issues for 8+ hours, then more likely it is an issue with your specific server, or possibly another server on your aggregation switch, which may be causing issues to your service.

<< Becuase the name Jose is not on the account it my partner name and he should be doing next hrs or 2 >> OK, thank you for admitting that it was not true.

You were correctly assigned the CPU resources that you ordered. You are running CPanel in one of our smallest VPS packages, and that alone eats up the majority of your resources. CPanel utilizes about 90% of your memory allocation on your package right offthe bat. When you add to that everything you are trying to run on inside the VPS, well---your package/resources you are paying for simply cannot handle it. You were explained this days ago in the ticket you submitted by our support staff. You cannot expect to get the service of a dedicated server on a small VPS package--especially when running CPanel, and especially when ordering one of the smallest VPS packages.
