No email no reply, no notification from them. Are they out of business?

Whois shows: Technical Contact: DEALS4HOSTING.COM Jesse Rasmussen P.O. Box 262 Fork Union, VA 23055 US Unfortunately...there's no phone # given there. I'd start searching for a new host if I were you. Downtime happens, but clients should be kept informed. Last edited by Bashar; 10-22-2005 at 10:13 PM.

Ok - I THINK deals4hosting is the same company as cubichosting.net -- they are supposedly working on it...

Yes there's another thread regarding this right below yours, I'm sure they're working pretty hard with The Planet in getting everything back up. Just hang on a bit longer.

Ok (but let's hope the October 22 won't be changed to October 23 etc.).

Looks like they're up.

3rd day, looks like cpanel/ftp passwords are not working, there are posts about this in their forums, no replies from them whatsoever, not by e-mail (all e-mails are returned saying no user exists), not by support tickets.

Hello, Below is part of the e-mail that was sent to all of our clients last night. ------------------------------------------ As you may be aware, the Cubic Hosting Mars server was recently compromised. The hacker responsible for this blocked our access to the server and deleted all data on the server. Fortunately, we did have a backup of all our clients’ data from the morning before the attack. The server’s file system was destroyed to such a point that the operating system and cPanel needed to be reloaded. As our datacenter staff is the only ones that can do such a thing, we contacted them immediately. They then proceeded to take about 36 hours to complete the OS and cPanel reload. We had been using a backup server of our datacenter that started having issues when we attempted to restore our backup. We contacted our datacenter immediately, and they then took about 12 hours to correct the problems. Once we had restored the backup to the server, it became apparent that the mail server was not functioning properly. We worked for hours and hours trying to correct the problem, and finally came to a solution yesterday. ------------------------------------------ We appreciate your patience throughout this matter and would like you to know that while we had all of typical security measures in place, we have now taken extra steps to further secure the server. Please note that we recently acquired some clients from Deals4Hosting.com, but we are in no way the same company as them. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
