I wonder if they noticed yet?
It doesn't seem like they did to be honest.
|
Posted by HNLV, 02-25-2006, 12:22 PM |
Right, if they did, their SUPER QUALIFIED techs or whatever they call them should have fixed it by now.
|
Posted by mripguru, 02-25-2006, 12:25 PM |
"service httpd restart" anyone?
|
Posted by layer0, 02-25-2006, 12:28 PM |
...or /scripts/restartsrv_httpd on cPanel boxen
|
Posted by HNLV, 02-25-2006, 12:30 PM |
I dont think ThePlanet uses cPanel, that would be SOOOOO weird. DONT ask me why, but it just is.
Nice suggestion BTW .

in WHT there are weired curve, look what ppl says about TP .. the dedicated GOD 3 years ago!
|
Posted by HNLV, 02-25-2006, 05:34 PM |
I guess their Savvis GlobalCrossing maintenance took longer than they expected OR may be TP "forgot" to change a few settings after the maintenance, lol.

my box at TP never faltered so I guess that's what really matters. TP has a top notch network and I'm still a happy customer after 2 years.

Yes, but if their main site was down for such an extended period of time - who knows what else they're not monitoring properly? (switches, routers, etc)?.
|
Posted by TacticsFan, 02-26-2006, 01:28 PM |
A site I use every day is hosted on TP. Problem is, their mysql databases continually crap out. There are periods of severla hours every week (sometimes several times a week) where anything using a database becomes unusable. The site itself may be up, but you can;t DO anything on it.

It's back up for me.
|
Posted by almico, 03-01-2006, 06:41 AM |
All of the servers I have at ThePlanet were unreachable. Looking at ORBIT I could see a large drop in their bandwtidth availability. Now all of my servers (at different datacenters) are back online.
|
Posted by WHMCS-John, 03-01-2006, 06:44 AM |
Yup, back up for me too.
@TacticsFan: It's not The Planet's fault that a user's databases break - they are only responsible for connectivity and hardware, not the coding and operation.

It's working for me, but i'm receiving complaints from customers from Spain and Uruguay

Posted by elmister, 03-01-2006, 07:07 AM |
Now seems to be working again for everybody

Has anyone got any more info on this? Everything is up for me but I have quite a few customers who can't access anything.. The graphs in orbit are all over the place...
|
Posted by APC Hosting, 03-01-2006, 07:32 AM |
We are currently observing an issue with Level3 and have routed around it. They have a ticket on the issue and are working it. If you need more information please don't hesitate to open a ticket.
Thanks
