Hivelocity International speeds?

Hi, I have a 10mbit unmetered server with Hivelocity. Have had it for about 6 months now. Recently my ISP changed upstream providers here in Australia, from Telstra to Optus. The problem is, that Optus' upstream (Singtel) are either prefering the route to Hivelocity over Cogent, as opposed to Level3. Or the Cogent/Singtel link is congested. OR the Cogent/Hivelocity transit link is congested. Speeds to/from my server from hosts in the US are fine. Some of the time speeds to hosts here in .AU are also fine, but generally speeds are down around 10kB/sec. I logged a support ticket regarding this a few days ago, and got a response along the lines of "set your speed and duplex". Gee thanks, read my support request! (I had stated speed/duplex were fine, and that speeds were ok within the US. I got another response, saying they had "reset" my switch port (shut/unshut anyone?) and to respond if it did not improve. I responded that speeds were still not improved, and explained my theory above about their Cogent link. I asked if they were aware of any issues with their Cogent link. Deafening silence from Hivelocity since then. Hell I have even asked them to prepend advertisements to Cogent some more to try and have Singtel route to Hivelocity over Level3 rather than Cogent. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to get this resolved? Or anyone else having the same issues? Up until now I have been perfectly happy with Hivelocity. As it is, my customers are now starting to seriously consider going elsewhere. If that happens, I will be forced to cease being a Hivelocity customer.
