There seems to be a problem with Level3 routing.. I have been able to traceroute and ping from several locations inside the US, but outside the US it seems more or less down. Some UK and Scandinavian networks are connecting fine to the network, but my UK broadband is not. The route stops at 4.71.0.6 which is an Level3 IP http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/whois.ch?ip=4.71.0.6

I'm new here, so I still can't send Links, but if you want to get their livechat link go to the previous topic about them - the fire accident - and you will find the link in the third page

Moved to outages. Hivelocity.com seems okay but not Hivelocity.net.

Things appear to be peachy now.

It's back up but I'm quite irritated that their technical support dodged my request for an incident response report. Is it no longer appropriate to request such reports?

We had a problem around 4am on the master port of the trunk between the core and the router. It initally looked like an imbalance, so we spent a little time looking in that direction. Once we were able to figure out that it was a bad gbic we corrected the problem and all was back to normal.
