Posted by TweakAdmin, 03-21-2006, 03:52 PM
I am having issues with The Planet. Is anyone else having these problems as well?

Posted by timdorr, 03-21-2006, 03:53 PM
Yep, me too across multiple servers. It's up, but slow as crap.

Posted by TweakAdmin, 03-21-2006, 03:54 PM
I can not access them at all. All my servers are down.

Posted by timdorr, 03-21-2006, 03:55 PM
Looks to just be D2.

Posted by Lem0nHead, 03-21-2006, 03:55 PM
I'm having 35% packet loss

Posted by SPaReK, 03-21-2006, 03:55 PM
Its been up and down for me for the past 5 to 10 minutes or so. Looks to be something network related.

Posted by Angel78, 03-21-2006, 03:56 PM
mine are down too, I cant even reach Orbit.

Posted by TweakAdmin, 03-21-2006, 03:57 PM
I am experiencing 100% packet loss.

Posted by timdorr, 03-21-2006, 03:57 PM
It's definitely internal. I can't ping from servers inside their network, even.

Posted by jandres4, 03-21-2006, 03:57 PM
Yep, my servers are up, but very very slow. Let's hope they can fix this quickly..

Posted by sightz, 03-21-2006, 03:58 PM
Down from Toronto. Figures I just launched a major time-sensitive promotion about 30 minutes ago!

Posted by TweakAdmin, 03-21-2006, 03:59 PM
I have been down for approximatley 19 minutes. They need to fix this rapidly. Let's hope they do.

I have a Server in D2 and it is down. Two others in D4 and they are fine.

Posted by robinms, 03-21-2006, 04:00 PM
Same here, none of the servers, and not Orbit. Orbit times out almost right away, but our servers are up and down..

Posted by AtoZ, 03-21-2006, 04:00 PM
I have 5 servers there... Only one of them is not reachable, but I can't get into orbit... Anyone know what's up? Since I can't get to theplanet.com I'm assuming it's not just my server.

Posted by timdorr, 03-21-2006, 04:00 PM
Just got a page in Orbit to come up, but not much else.

Posted by TweakAdmin, 03-21-2006, 04:00 PM
All of mine are in D2 as well.

Woah, speed up.

Posted by TweakAdmin, 03-21-2006, 04:05 PM
I just got into Orbit but that is all

Posted by woxcom, 03-21-2006, 04:07 PM
We're having the same problem... However, our servers responds from time to other shortly!

Posted by timdorr, 03-21-2006, 04:09 PM
Seems to be OK now.

Posted by sirius, 03-21-2006, 04:10 PM
Noticed the problem with Orbit, but no problems reaching servers. Sirius

Posted by percent5, 03-21-2006, 04:10 PM
We can access our plant server but have about 20% packet loss.

Posted by TweakAdmin, 03-21-2006, 04:10 PM
It is back up and running here too.

Posted by AtoZ, 03-21-2006, 04:13 PM
Yeah, I'm getting something to come up from time to time... I actually got into Orbit, but then it timed out again. They must be getting hit with a denial of service attack or something. Luckily it's only affecting one server, but it's my ad server so it's slowing everything else down too.

Posted by jandres4, 03-21-2006, 04:15 PM
Yes, all of mine are up again too.

Posted by woxcom, 03-21-2006, 04:21 PM
well... Now one of our servers has started to response, but it does not seems to be stable! Orbit is back and so is The Planet's website, however they do not respond to their live chat...

Posted by Lem0nHead, 03-21-2006, 04:27 PM
ThePlanet is having a lot of these this month it's around 3 hours down total by my counts... are you requesting (and getting) SLA? they refused to give SLA to me...

Posted by woxcom, 03-21-2006, 04:30 PM
I've been told that there is an outage on a d2 router CAR14! They perfer not to give out any details until an offical statement has been posted. Their network team is investigating now and it should be backup very soon. Also, there should be an RFO posted soon.

Thank you for the info!

Posted by TweakAdmin, 03-21-2006, 04:32 PM
I have not requested it yet. I will though and I will let you all know what happens.

My servers have been up all day with no problems... I can get to everything, infact, it actually seems to be a bit faster

Posted by sirius, 03-21-2006, 04:44 PM
wcharnock confirmed it was a failed switch and that it has been replaced. Routes are rebuilding now. Sirius
