Posted by HostJedi, 06-15-2006, 11:27 AM
This evening (Thursday, June 15th 2006), at approximately 10:00PM EST, BurstNET™ will be performing maintenance on core power to our primary routing/switching equipment in our Scranton PA facility. At the same time, BurstNET™ will be performing an upgrade of a portion of the core switching in the facility as well. The work is expected to last 10-15 minutes, and should be able to be completed with minimal downtime. . Notification was emailed to clients and posted to forums last week. . .

"The work is expected to last 10-15 minutes, and should be able to be completed with minimal downtime." Is it still down 1 hour and 30 minutes later?

It did not go down until about 50 minutes ago from what I remember.

Anyone else at burst still down? I am seeing www.burst.net and forum.burst.net working now, but we are still down.

My associate contacted them and apparently, this is part of the maintenance, but must not affect everyone (hopefully). Anyone else down? I am hoping there isn't some other problem with our equipment down there.

Back up now. Must be that not many other WHT users were affected since this thread remained quite unread.
