turbulentmedia down? [MERGED]

Posted by girishr, 01-15-2007, 07:50 AM
I have been hosting with turbulentmedia.com for about 9 months. It was a smooth service until the start of 2007. My site www.abcphp.com is down ever since. I have mailed them many mails at their domain name and also at a gmail address. But there is no response from them. Did anybody has had any similar experience from them or similar. What I am I supposed to do to get a backup of my files on the server? Any advise will be helpful Regards Girish R

yeah... same for me.. they just disappeared.. I noticed their client center license expired at 1-1-2007, only a few days later they completly disappeared! the weird thing is, they renewed their domain very recently (wich is unaccesible): [whois.internic.net] Status: ok Updated Date: 15-jan-2007 Creation Date: 14-jan-2005 Expiration Date: 14-jan-2008

Posted by girishr, 01-16-2007, 06:29 AM
How did you get the client center license details?

Hey I can't do that to. How long have they been down?

Posted by girishr, 01-16-2007, 08:29 AM
BTW thanks anon-e-mouse, I was wondering whether to contact the admins for mis-posting. dumpster, I guess its been down from 5 Jan 2007. Even i came know about it rather late when some of my friends notified me. But even before that in December, I as mailed the admin regarding the large amount of email bounces I get on my domain. Somebody was using my domain for spamming. the message looked some thing like this...it also had a gif file.... anybody had any similar experience? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. My proudest thing about this book is that it's underhalf an inch thick - which was very unusual for OO modellingbooks at that time. Contracts enable service independence; paradoxically, they can also couple service providers and consumers in undesirable ways. I was told that this project had been in development for acouple of years and was currently integrating, and had beenintegrating for several months. One could addfurther protocol with events for accepting the task and finishingthe task, for instance. As part of this we can alsotalk more concretely about patterns and practices that are in tunewith these principles. Heredis - Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download. Since these solutions are ordinary, it's common that experts ina field won't find anything new in a patterns book. Naming a pattern immediately increases our designvocabulary. I've also got a catalog that includes summariesof all the refactorings in the book, together with some new ones. As a consequence of this recipes have a stronger problemfocus than the solution focus in patterns. Cockburn's book spends a lot of time talking about theimportance of physical proximity in agile methods. comThis article discusses some of the challenges in evolving a community of service providers and consumers. As I see concepts that are little-known oroft-misunderstood, I try to give them a name so they are easier totalk about. This flexibility has it's pros and cons, as weshall see. This led to two major efforts. There is much, muchmore to say about enterprise application development than I could sayin one book. This is a reason why AlistairCockburn is a proponent of use cases, because they concentrate on anarrative of how someone uses a system. Despite the various forms, most patterns do have commoneleme My flippant answer to this one is: "that would be true if thehardest part of programming was typing". tis a standard spam mail, what i call image stock spam usually. I use clamAV custom filters to get rid of them. But if they are coming from your account, then you need to force authentication for sending mail, as your smtp server seems open. least now i know someone sending it out, thanks alot, took ages to get rid of that stuff. btw, they take random news clips, and random words from it, in an effort to stop anti-spam systems from recognizing it. They also randomize the image by breaking it up into many, randomly sized images to make it even more difficult to block. Last edited by geekeffect; 01-16-2007 at 09:25 AM.

I just checked google cache and got this. http://209.85.135.104/search?q=cache...3&client=opera this is their third party support/ticketing system. Guess like even that has expired. I am sure the turbulentmedia guys knew about the expiration of their different licenses. wondering why didn't they renew it!
