Have you sent them a ticket? Looks to me like they are either having server problems or overselling the server which is crashing it as I know the network / DC they are using is up and the dates you have listed are not all caused by the datacenter. Do you have a screenshot of the server load or know what it's at now?

6 hours passed, still down.

Hi, We've been keeping everyone updated on our forums, please take note this is the same server ddosed last week and we know which customer was the target, he also knows about this and informed us few times, he'll be moving to his own server later this week. We're working hard with networking department at datacenter to address this issue. Cheers

Wow...that is not good. I'm really impressed that Cirtex is working with the customer and finding a solution for him. Most hosts would just throw them off the server and say "Bye-Bye". Kudos to you!

Thank you, we've gotten the attack under control now, it is still going on but most are being directed to another IP at the moment. Cheers

InternationalFilm: I will check on them for this reason, and see if I sign with them! you think they are better than hostgator?

Posted by InternationalFilm, 02-18-2007, 12:47 PM
Not that familiar with Hostgator but when we were having problems with DDOS Attacks, our host at the time booted us within 2 hours.... It took us nearly 2 months to find a reputable company that was willing to work with us. So I respect a company that understands the situation and is willing to help out. Well, that is 1/2 true. Most customers would say "we can't afford a dedicated server" or "its your fault that your server/network/etc...can't handle it, I am a victim...etc" and then flame them here on the boards for bad support. Then they would get tossed.... and open a new tread how the hoster was a picking on them, threw then off because they posted a negative post...etc. You get the idea. So not just Kudos to Cirtex (and way to go..) but also to that most endangered species of all, a reasonable customer...

Thanks for everyones comments. Server Pretty is back to normal and everything is ok now after hours of hardwork, the customer that was the target of the ddos attack is going to move away as well and should be resolved. Cheers

Hi, The ddos attack was targetted towards one of our customers on server, since this is a reseller server it was even harder to track down. Anyhow things have been pretty much calmed down now, still attack is going on but being blocked out mostly but it was very hard work and I personally right after the Chinese New Year dinner on a saturday night have been working none stop on server and had 2-3hrs sleep... I really do not like to point the blame, but after much investigation, seems like your Reseller Account hosts the domain that is being targetted from the DDOS Attack so I hope your next host takes good care of ya, as I did receive your cancellation and refunded your account already. Good luck Nipitpon

Seems this issue has been taken care of and is only drawing in non customers. If for some reason this topic needs to be reopened, please notify the helpdesk. *Topic Closed*
