server4you.com down!

Posted by 506070, 02-13-2007, 07:05 AM
Hi there, just woke up and checked on our servers it seems that server4you.com is not working. Their german site is fine. We are just for 2 months with them... Is that normal? I read a few posts regarding server4you before. Or may be they got busted and we won't see our data anymore... Anyone similar experiences?

ok i phoned them 5 minutes ago.. there are some technical problems so its nothing with our servers and they don't know when it is gonna be fixed... zdenko try to phone them at 001-314-266-3638 ..

first, thanks for phone number, but i'm from europe and phone call to usa is not an option for now... if i'm sure that my call make problem fixed, no problem. but right now, no way server is down since 8:40 CET, just if anyone need that inf.. and i think that this is under 99,9% uptime policy, can we do smth based on that? thay told us when we signing server that server is never under 99% uptime, is it false advertising or what ?

Im also from Europe, Poland exactly. If there, in Saint Louis is now 5:30 am, here in Poland is 12:30 pm. Mabe they are not so hurry because they are not at work but in bed right now?

Posted by 506070, 02-13-2007, 07:42 AM
hmm i don't know if its a false advertising .. lets calculate: 30 days * 24 = 720 hrs.. so 99% uptime is 720 * 0,99 = 712,8 hrs of uptime .. nearly 8 hrs of downtime so they have just a few hours to fix that..
