Have you openned a ticket with them about this?

Yes, we had a node crash today and was quickly recovered. This node has suffered from multiple crashes and we have ruled out any misconfiguration/software related issues. A hardware check is required on the node; however, will take 3-6 hours. Instead of this, we are already scheduling online migrations for all VPSs to be moved to our backup node which is already running. After the migrations are completed, SoftLayer engineers will run a hardware check on this node. VPSs will not be migrated back - they will remain on the new node. I apologize for the problems caused by this. If you feel as though you are eligible for an SLA credit, feel free to open a ticket in accounting. We will calculate the total downtime. I do not believe the node has fallen below our 99.9% SLA guarantee; however, we can verify this for you from our off-site monitoring services.

Good to know there's a backup node when needed. Hopefully the migration will be troublefree.
